About the Global Down Syndrome Foundation
In honor of World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st, we’re adding extra sweetness to this special blend all month long! Throughout the entire month of March, 100% of proceeds from each jar of One Tough Cookie Cashew Butter sold, will be donated to the Global Down Syndrome Foundation (GDSF), a public non-profit which works diligently to significantly improve the lives of people with Down syndrome through research, medical care, education and advocacy. The Global Down Syndrome Foundation's primary focus is to support the Linda Crnic Institute for Down Syndrome, the first academic home in the United States committed solely to research and medical care for people with Down syndrome. Since Down syndrome is the least-funded genetic condition in the United States, fundraising and government advocacy is a major goal for GDSF, which is an initiative we can get behind!
Our small batch, handcrafted One Tough Cookie Butter is 100% gluten-free and gets an extra dose of clean protein from our premium, grassfed, lactose-free whey. Naturally low in sugar, our butter base is sweetened lightly with Stevia. The only added sugars you’ll find will come from our hand-measured and hand-topped mix-ins!
