Recipe: Mint Dream Muddy Buddies

Well imagine combining the two snacks into a decadent sweet-tooth-satisfier that not only features our high protein Mint Chocolate Dream Almond Butter BUT is also:

  • Gluten Free
  • Dairy Free
  • Lower in Sugar

Get your mixing bowl ready, this easy recipe is so delicious you'll want to keep it all to yourself!

Gluten-Free Mint Dream Muddy Buddies

Ingredients:

Chocolate Mixture
3 cups Chex rice cereal
1/4 cup American Dream Mint Chocolate Dream Almond Butter
1/4 cup Cacao Spread or Chocolate
1/4 cup Sugar Free Powdered Sugar*

Mint Mixture
3 cups Chex rice cereal
1/2 cup Coconut Butter or White Chocolate
2 drops green food gel/coloring
1/4 cup Sugar Free Powdered Sugar*

Optional: Thin Mints-style cookies, roughly chopped, for sprinkling!

Instructions:

  1. Place cereal for each mixture in separate bowls and set aside.
  2. In a small microwave proof bowl, melt almond butter and cacao/chocolate together until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate over one cereal bowl and gently stir until coated.
  4. Add powdered sugar and stir (or shake in a plastic bag).
  5. Pour onto a cookie sheet to let cool.
  6. In another small microwave proof bowl, melt white chocolate until smooth and stir in as much green dye as desired.
  7. 9. Pour over second bowl of cereal and stir until coated.
  8. Add powdered sugar and stir.
  9. Pour onto a cookie sheet and let cool.
  10. Mix the two colors together and add chopped Thin Mints cookies for decoration!
